Hefty Ounce - Universal Board Template
Description
I had the idea to make this new template when I found out that the photo editor on my phone can make the ends of a rectangular photo perfectly round like a skateboard with a single slider. This revelation lead me to try make my own griptapes more realistic by not going right to the edge of the board, which lead me to scaling everything properly for the different standard boards in the game once I figured out the differences between them.
Now you can see how your custom bolts, deck art, and griptapes will look without even booting up the game!
The template features a base layer that shows what gets cropped out completely; 3 deck templates with safe areas and danger zones where the trucks obscure the art; 3 griptape templates with safe areas, optional trim areas, and danger zones where you must include griptape so the bolts don't get deleted with the alpha pass on a stainable griptape with transparency; and a notes layer with some helpful hints that'll make sure your mods work the first time you load them!
The .zip file contains the template in .psd format and .afphoto format for use in Adobe Photoshop; Affinity Photo; or any other program compatible with those formats, as well as the raw .png files to assemble the template yourself, and a blank .ini template for stainable griptapes. Just extract and go.
